When should your child stay home from school?

A temperature of 100 degrees or higher

Any vomiting and/or diarrhea within the last 24 hours

Eye symptoms such as redness, itching and/or unusual white or yellow drainage
-
Has lice or nits; students may return to school after they have been properly treated, are nit-free and rechecked by the nurse or health aid

Asthma Action Plan
Complete and submit action plan relating to asthma to the high school nurse.
Asthma Inhaler
A completed form must be provided to the school principal and/or nurse before the student may possess and use an asthma inhaler in school.
Bee/Wasp Sting Action Plan
Complete and submit action plan for symptoms and medication requirements relating to bee/wasp stings to the high school nurse.
Bee/Wasp Sting Allergy Record
Describes reactions to bee/wasp stings. To be submitted to the high school nurse.
Diabetes Management Plan
Complete and submit action plan relating to diabetes to the high school nurse.
Diagnosis/Disorder: Diabetes
Diabetic Care Plan
Epinephrine Auto-Injector
A completed form must be provided to the school principal and/or nurse before the student may possess and use an Epinephrine Auto-Injector to treat Anaphylaxis in school.
Food Allergy Action Plan
Complete and submit action plan for symptoms and medication requirements relating to food allergies to the high school nurse.
