Beginning with the high school graduating class of 2007, students must pass all five parts of the Ohio Graduation Tests (OGT) in order to receive high school diplomas. The OGT replaces the Ohio Ninth-Grade Proficiency Tests, which were tests aligned to learning outcomes. The test will assess student learning in Math, Reading, Writing, Science, and Social Studies. Questions will be based upon ninth and tenth grade Academic Content Standards. Parents can be influential in helping their children. Useful information and tools can be found on the Internet.
