The Computer Science and Forensics division of the IT Academy focuses on computer architecture and the principles of how computers function at both the software and hardware level.  Students will examine computer networking, the fundamental concepts of computer forensic science, managing data security, and will have the opportunity to install and manage an open-source operating system such as Linux.  Students will have the opportunity to earn the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification, as well as the CompTIA Security+ and/or Network+ certification.
