Students learn the personal care of clients’ hair, skin, and nails. Training occurs in a lab setting as well as in the Today’s Image Salon. The Today’s Image Salon is a full service salon operated by students and open to the public. Cosmetology students have a full academic schedule in which many courses are tied directly to the Cosmetology curriculum. Students must pass the State Board of Cosmetology exam to be licensed.
